What we collect and why
When you contact us or book a call
We collect the details you enter in our forms: name, work email, company, role and your message. We use them to reply to you and to discuss working together. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking the steps you ask for before entering a contract.
When you browse the site
We collect the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device and browser type, your approximate location and the times you visit, using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies below). We use this to understand how the site performs and which of our marketing works. Our lawful basis is your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
Business contact data for outreach
We work with consumer brands. We may hold business contact details for people in marketing and leadership roles at brands we think we can help: name, job title, company, work email and public professional profile. We get these from public sources such as company websites and LinkedIn, and from business data providers. We use them to send relevant, occasional business emails and messages. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in business-to-business marketing. Every email lets you opt out, and once you do we will not contact you again.
Website visitor identification
We use cookies and similar technologies on this site. Our online data partners or vendors may use them to link your activity on the site to other information they hold about you, including your email address. We, or our service providers, may then send you marketing emails. You can opt out at any time at app.retention.com/optout.
If you are in the UK or the EU, you can also opt out of this collection of your personal data under the GDPR at rb2b.com/rb2b-gdpr-opt-out.
Cookies
- Necessary cookies run the site and remember your cookie choices.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Framer Analytics) measure visits to the site.
- Marketing cookies (LinkedIn Insight Tag, RB2B) measure our advertising and, for visitors in the United States, identify the businesses and people who visit.
Our cookie banner lets you accept or refuse analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link on every page. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that protect it:
- website hosting and analytics (Framer, Google)
- forms and call booking (Typeform)
- CRM, email and messaging (Pipedrive, Google Workspace, Slack)
- data enrichment and outreach tools (Clay, Dripify)
- advertising (LinkedIn)
- website visitor identification (RB2B and its partner Retention.com)
- databases (Supabase)
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the UK-US Data Bridge or other approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and client records: for as long as we are in discussion or working together, then up to six years for legal and accounting reasons.
- Outreach contact data: up to 24 months after our last contact, or until you opt out. After an opt-out we keep a minimal record so that we never contact you again.
- Analytics data: for as long as each tool's settings allow, and no longer than 26 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data
- correct it
- delete it
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time
- send it to you, or another organisation, in a portable format
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@augmentumis.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
